Set in the glorious Oxfordshire countryside, just 5 miles north of Banbury, lies the delightful Cropredy Marina.

This charming, immaculately maintained marina has 348 berths, set across 3 wide basins, suitable for all sizes of narrowboat and cruiser. It’s generous proportions allow ease of manoeuvrability for all size of vessel.

All the pontoons are fully serviced providing electricity, water and wi-fi, with diesel, gas, coal, pump-out, and elsan available at the service quay.

The marina lies within walking distance of the attractive village of Cropredy, famous for the annual Fairport Convention music festival. The village has a thriving community and excellent amenities, including two pubs, a general store a doctor’s surgery and the newly opened cafe, The Mulberry Cafe, located just off the village green.

Cropredy is ideally positioned on the southern Oxford Canal, for short and longer cruises on the southern half of the English canal network, and also provides access to the Thames at Oxford.

The team at Cropredy, managed by Georgina Wickham, are experienced boaters, passionate about all aspects of the marina, which is reflected in how spotless the grounds are kept.

The marina office is staffed 7-days a week in the season, so there is always someone to offer help or advice where necessary.

    Georgina has a proven track record of customer services and a career including financial services and pharma.

    She has owned narrowboats since she was 17 years old and currently owns a 136 yr old wrought iron joey boat. 

    Her passion for the waterways and deep understanding of owner's needs makes her an ideal fit as Cropredy's Manager.

    Guy’s passion for the canals and boating started on a hire boating holiday and currently owns a 65ft traditional narrowboat. Initially trained as a vehicle technician, then with a construction company as a carpenter, eventually running his own company until 2015. Committed to customer service and with a genuine passion for the canals and boating he is the perfect addition to the Cropredy team.

    Adam has been boating for over 15 years and has worked in the hotel industry and marinas, his attention to detail regarding boats is first class and therefore makes him a great addition to our team at Cropredy.

Narrowboat Holidays with Castle Marinas

Castle marinas operates nine marinas on the UK's inland waterways network including some of the UK's leading inland marinas catering for all types of narrowboats and river cruisers. From our base at Wigrams Turn Marina, we also run a Black Prince hire fleet of some 16 narrowboats, ideal for holidays of all types.

Marina Information & Layout

Cropredy Marina, situated on the southern Oxford Canal, has 249 berths, set across 2 wide basins, suitable for all sizes of narrowboat and cruiser. It’s generous proportions allow ease of manoeuvrability for all size of vessel.

All the pontoons are fully serviced providing electricity, water and wi-fi, with diesel, gas, coal, pump-out, and elsan available at the service quay.

Pontoon Services - Water/Electricity

Full length jetty beside every boat for easy access. All jetties have a non-slip surface.

Taps and power points adjacent to every jetty around the basin, electricity charged on metered usage.

Showers, Toilets and Launderette Facilities
The toilets and shower facilities are available to all customers of Cropredy Marina, open 24 hours a day and include disabled facilities.
There is also a launderette with washing machine & tumble dryer which are token operated. Tokens are available to buy from the Marina Office.
Fuel Pump

Diesel, solid fuels & Calor gas available at service wharf.

Maintenance Repairs

Our new floating dock is fully operational.

Full time Harbour Master is based on-site. The Marina is not open to the general public and is located on the canal off-side, well back from the road.

Unloading bays close to jetties, ample car parking.
