Cropredy Marina: Drydock Operative/Harbourmaster

We are looking for a Dry Dock operative/Harbourmaster to join our team at Cropredy Marina on the South Oxford Canal

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to our current and future moorers, and the new team member will play a key part in this. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who can work flexibly within a small team, with a ‘can do’ attitude. The priority for the role is to provide a blacking service for narrowboats.

Activities include; Preparation and Blacking of narrowboats, regular boat checks, maintaining the marina infrastructure, including pontoons and buildings, selling moorings, general customer service and assisting with administration.

You will need to be comfortable in a customer facing role and be able to deal with phone calls and some paperwork.

Full time role, including some weekends on rota, and out of hours emergency phone cover. You will need to live close by (or onsite) to fulfil your work commitments.

Trinity Marina: Harbourmaster

We are looking for a Harbourmaster to join our team at Trinity Marina on the Ashby Canal.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to our current and future moorers, and the new team member will play a key part in this. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who can work flexibly within a small team, with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Activities include: regular boat checks, welcoming customers and helping move boats, maintaining the marina infrastructure, including pontoons and buildings, selling moorings, general customer service and assisting with administration. Practical skills would be an advantage, as would computer knowledge.

You will need to be comfortable in a customer facing role and be able to deal with phone calls and some paperwork.

Full time role, including some weekends on rota, and out of hours emergency phone cover. You will need to live close by (or onsite) to fulfil your work commitments.
