Trinity Marina: Marina Manager

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic manager, running the newest addition in the Castle Marinas portfolio. Trinity Marina has 150 berths and is situated on the Ashby Canal near Hinckley.

We’re looking for someone who can drive the business forward – sell moorings, improve the profitability, manage a team of people, and generally be the public face of the marina. We need a broad skillset, including exceptional people skills, computer knowledge, a strong personality, good practical skills to be able to help maintain the marina infrastructure, and a willingness to get stuck into whatever challenge is thrown at them.

If you have these attributes and aren’t afraid of hard work, we can offer you a great 5 day a week job, with plenty of variety and a mooring as well if required. The basic salary will be approx. £20-22k a year, plus an incentive based on occupancy of the marina, and a mooring for your own boat if required.

Trinity Marina: Boat Brokerage Manager

Castle Marinas Ltd is one of the UK’s biggest and best Marina operators, with 10 marinas across the UK and over 3,000 customers. We have recently taken on Trinity Marina in Hinckley Leicestershire and this has led to an exciting opportunity to run our Boat Brokerage office from the marina.

You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills (face-to-face, written and telephone) and the ability to build and develop relationships with all types of clients. You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be computer literate. You must be motivated, target driven, hungry for business, and should be prepared to provide the highest level of professional service in the industry, something our clients have come to expect from us and that we pride ourselves on.

You will be responsible for all aspects of our brokerage business - Sourcing boats to sell, negotiating contracts, preparation of particulars, marketing, viewings, attending boat shows, and helping us build Castle Boat Sales into the UK’s premier boat brokerage business.

We offer a remuneration package that includes a basic salary plus commission and you will be based at Hinckley marina. All candidates should be aware that Brokerage, as part of the leisure industry, needs to be open on weekends and Bank Holidays and this forms an essential part of the role.

Crick Marina: Admin/ Marina Assistant Part Time. 10 days/month

We are looking for an Administrator/ Marina Assistant to join our established team at Crick Marina, situated on the Grand Union canal.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to our moorers and the new team member will play a key role in this. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who can work flexibly within a small team, with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Responsibilities include; raising invoices and chasing overdue monies, stock level checks and reordering, providing reception and office duties, responding to customer enquiries, updating social media, maintaining records.
