Castle Marinas withdrawing from North Wales marina
Castle Marinas acquired Dinorwic marina at Y Felinheli, Gwynedd, N Wales in July 2010 under a Management Agreement with an option to purchase the Freehold interest.
Castle, having reviewing their involvemenet over the first twelve months, have decided to withdraw to concentrate on larger aquisitions elsewhere in the UK. Sam Bourne, Operations Director of Castle said ''Although we are operating seven marinas, we have a small head office team and to make the best of our human resources, we have decided that it is better to concentrate on more substantial acquisitions. Larger marinas are also more in line with our corporate strategy.''
Castle's involvement with Dinorwic marina will end on 27th July 2011.
